I started taking pictures when I moved from the grey and cold Netherlands to the warm and colorful Caribbean. In 2016, 11 years later I came back to the Netherlands and look at it with a different perspective. There is beauty everywhere, it is not the climate that makes things beautiful, it is the eye that catches the moment. The camera is my tool to show you what the world looks like. Inspiration is always around, if you want to see it you will find it.
Since july 2026 I moved to France, to enjoy the better climate and the beautiful surroundings in the south of France.

I have always been painting, love the way it sets your mind on hold. Since my back problems made me to stop my job as a dental hygienist, I started to spend more time in my studio. Now I make paintings and greeting cards on a commercial base. Free expression is my passion!
